The Royal Game of Ur is a two-player strategy race board game that was first played in ancient Mesopotamia during the early third millennium BC. One board, held by the British Museum, is dated to c. 2600 – c. 2400 BC, making it one of the oldest game boards in the world. It was the most played game in Mesopotamia for 1000 years. The designs of your board are based on that board found in the 1920.

You get 4 pyramid shape dice and 14 pieces (all pieces are created by us to reflect as close as possible the original board game at the British museum).  Dice and game pieces are made of PLA, a biodegradable product created with corn starch and sugar cane. The Board is NOT included

For the wood board game and all game pieces,  see the Royal Game of Ur on our website
